As part of the Project Wild Canvas, supported by Creative Black Country, families from Darlaston went on a trip to Cannock Chase.
We walked for miles, collected some beautiful objects to remind us of the adventure, had a picnic by the lake and we got covered in mud! Everyone had the best fun!
Some children have never been to Cannock Chase before, so we were super excited about being able to give them that opportunity.
The day was supported by West Midlands Community Transport and That’s All Media Team.
Project Wild Canvas is made out of 3 parts:
Part 1: Trip to Cannock Chase which took place in October
Part 2: Art expression- taking place in November
Part 3: Art exhibition for the community. We are collaborating with Darlaston’s Library to enable us to showcase all the artwork created by the families and students from Grace Academy.
