Members of the community have told us what they’d want to see differently in Darlaston! We are sharing the feedback with you to inform development of future projects in the area. During our latest Darlaston Together drop in session, held on Wednesday 13th December 2023 at Darlaston Library, we had very interesting conversations, especially with young people, who told us they would like to feel safe! on the streets of their neighborhood, and multiple comments about the need for a safe space for young people to meet. We were pleasantly surprised by the visit from other community leaders and the conversation about possibilities for future collaborations! We are very grateful for the support received from: Walsall Council Heathy Spaces Team- Kamila and Daniel WHG- Steven Grace Academy- Mark And of course, the Darlaston Library! For the future events we would love to see more community organizations and local schools getting involved. We would love to be able to map out the offer available in Darlaston to inform the residents about all the opportunities they can take advantage of. The community is asking for more opportunities! By working TOGETHER we can make it happen!!! |
